Davivienda International (DI):

DI is an international branch of Banco Davivienda S.A. (Colombia), operating in Miami, Florida, regulated and supervised by the Federal Reserve (FED) and the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (OFR).

DI offers financial products and services with emphasis in transactional efficiency, confidentiality, safety, and personalized service. Our staff has extensive experience in international banking making us your financial partner in the United States of America.


In 1981 DI began operations in the United States as Banco Cafetero International Corporation in New York. To better support its Colombian clients, Bancafé transferred its operations to Miami Florida. The bank’s target market was clients with international trade and personal banking needs.

After the merger of Banco Davivienda with Granbanco Bancafé in 2007, Bancafé International became a wholly owned subsidiary of Banco Davivienda adding value to the wide range of products and services offered to the clientele in Colombia.

As of January 1st, 2011, Bancafé International was converted into the Miami Branch of Banco Davivienda S.A, having the direct backing of its capital base while maintaining strict observance on the confidentiality over our customers’ information as imposed by the United States and State of Florida banking authorities.
